a/part/ment
a/part/ment is an audio based performance for one viewer-experiencer at a time. In 2016, the performance took place in public and semi-public urban spaces as well as in an apartment in central Helsinki. As a performance, a/part/ment seeks to reveal and question the power relations between people and their environment.
How does the surrounding space, architecture, social norms and markets shape behaviour and direct one’s perception and being in the everyday life?
