audio walk: rinnakkaisuus _amongness
rinnakkaisuus_amongness is an online audio work with binaural elements. It was first published in June 2021. In the publication event the audio work was introduced to the public with a choreographed walk outside in East Helsinki. The audio walks reoccurred in autumn 2022 with the support of the City of Helsinki.
What if we changed our perspective, the life’s scale? What if we empathetically explored different ways and forms of being, including the inanimate?
rinnakkaisuus_amongness is an experiential dance which explores being in, and part of nature. It suggests taking the time to wonder and to become sensitized to the existence of various natural organisms.
rinnakkaisuus_amongness is an invitation to experience a bodily-empathic dialogue with yourself and the environment.
Duration: 60 min (including the instructions in the beginning and the walk back to the starting point)
In order to take part in the audio walk one needs headphones, internet connection and a smart device to play the file.
