Dripping sketch
Dripping sketch is a solo for one mouth. It is a movement sketch and a vocal experience of the mouth. What kind of things move from the mouth and move the mouth? What goes in and out of the mouth? The performance is inspired by the materiality of the mouth and its expressive power. The performer bathes, wades and rumbles in the fluctuations of mouth moisture. They place their mouth as the object of collective perception and wonder. Dripping sketch invites the audience to connect with orality.
